We are seeking a passionate Senior Package Engineer to join our team in Israel. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various design and program teams in the development of sophisticated IC substrates for our groundbreaking products. We are committed to delivering exceptional solutions across diverse sectors and are looking for engineers who share our passion for innovation and making a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of advanced microelectronics packaging for NVIDIA Networking Business Unit's future products.
  • Collaborate with world-leading vendors to develop highly ambitious packaging solutions.
  • Thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Join and lead task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis, and reliability issues.
  • Work closely with SI, layout, and ASIC design teams to develop complex, top-of-the-line ASIC packages.
  • Be responsible for planning schedules, resolving costs, and addressing packaging, manufacturing, and electrical design issues.

Requirements

  • BSc or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years focused on complex ASIC package development and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience co-working with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Demonstrated vision and focus for projects and team objectives.
  • Possess a curious and creative problem-solving approach, coupled with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to influence and motivate peers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • High awareness of quality, manufacturability, and project schedules.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Hands-on experience with FEA mechanical simulation.
  • Experience in team/group/project management is considered an advantage.
  • Background in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with manufacturing statistics tools (e.g., JMP).
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes.
