Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dual Beam, focused ion beam scanning and electron microscopy (FIB/SEM), or Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
  • Background in Semiconductor (Metrology and Failure Analysis)
  • Familiarity with Transmission Electron Microscopes, Scanning Electron Microscopes, and/or Dual Beam/Focused Ion Beam Technology

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site professional technical support, primarily in North America
  • Develop innovative solutions to customer challenges
  • Support tool acceptance and new technologies on location and in coordination with the product and service teams
  • Develop positive relationships with customers as the technical partner for solving their challenges, explaining technology, and assisting with application development
  • Coordinate closely with internal product, engineering, marketing, and account teams on product acceptance and development
  • Provide detailed technical feedback to the product teams on customer needs and product performance in the field
  • Support new product introductions at customer sites, working with customer engineers to integrate technology into their workflows for failure analysis, characterization, and metrology
  • Develop applications and provide training to ensure users extract full value from the technology
