  • Strong background in operations management, strategy, and transformation
  • Ability to station at the supplier's location (Dallas, TX / Smyrna, TN / Bowling Green, KY, fully onsite with travel to other locations)
  • Strategic leadership skills to develop and implement plans for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Experience leading transformation initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work closely with Quality Engineer on quality assurance and control processes
  • Skills in cost management, material optimization, and waste reduction

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Lead transformation initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Manage day-to-day operations at the supplier's facility, ensuring production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational issues are addressed
  • Oversee the growth and development of suppliers in the US, ensuring they meet company quality and performance standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
  • Work closely with the Quality Engineer to ensure products meet specifications and standards, and oversee quality control processes
  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining or improving product quality, including optimizing material usage, improving production techniques, and reducing waste
