Ability to station at the supplier's location (Dallas, TX / Smyrna, TN / Bowling Green, KY, fully onsite with travel to other locations)
Strategic leadership skills to develop and implement plans for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
Experience leading transformation initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation
Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies
Ability to work closely with Quality Engineer on quality assurance and control processes
Skills in cost management, material optimization, and waste reduction

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
Lead transformation initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Manage day-to-day operations at the supplier's facility, ensuring production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational issues are addressed
Oversee the growth and development of suppliers in the US, ensuring they meet company quality and performance standards
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with company goals
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
Work closely with the Quality Engineer to ensure products meet specifications and standards, and oversee quality control processes
Develop and execute strategies to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining or improving product quality, including optimizing material usage, improving production techniques, and reducing waste
