Candidates should possess 8-10+ years of experience in enterprise networking and network security, with a proven track record in multi-site design and operations. Deep expertise in routing, switching, segmentation, and firewalling is required, along with proficiency in Python, IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform, and cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with NAC/RADIUS integrations with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD), certificate-based authentication, EAP, and zero-trust architectures is essential. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and leadership skills are necessary, as is the willingness and ability to travel internationally for deployments. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with SASE/ZTNA platforms and professional certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.

Responsibilities include deploying and managing network security controls such as segmentation, NAC/802.1X, VPN, SWG/SASE, ZTNA, IDS/IPS, and DLP. The role involves implementing and managing Wi-Fi EAP, certificate-based authentication, and zero-trust access controls, as well as planning and optimizing enterprise Wi-Fi through RF design, surveys, and performance tuning. Building secure cloud and hybrid networking environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP, and automating deployments and configuration management using Python, Ansible, and IaC tools are key duties. The engineer will also implement observability and alerting to improve MTTR and service reliability, support compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 through secure configurations and documentation, and travel globally for on-site deployments and architecture reviews.
