Who You Are

Galaxy is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in low-latency trading networks needed to help design, build and support nationwide & global trading networks. This role is responsible for Network and Security Management, emergency response, design and deployment of new technology, and processes that would contribute to cost savings and/or productivity improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for working and collaborating with network engineering team on new and existing networking projects, reporting to IT management.
• Work with infrastructure and trading support teams on various connectivity projects and troubleshooting.
• Will be responsible for maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN circuits in and between financial collocations of existing and new locations.
• Network performance and scalability testing.
• Create support documentation and reports.
• Maintain and Develop SNMP/Network monitoring tools, improve performance stability.
