The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in network engineering, particularly with experience in low-latency trading networks. They should be capable of designing, building, and supporting nationwide and global trading networks, and have experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN circuits.
The Senior Network Engineer will collaborate with the network engineering team on new and existing networking projects, report to IT management, work with infrastructure and trading support teams on connectivity projects and troubleshooting, maintain and configure network devices, perform network performance and scalability testing, create support documentation and reports, and be responsible for emergency response and the design and deployment of new technology and processes to improve cost savings and productivity.
