Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in enterprise-level network engineering within a corporate environment. They should have deep knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and LACP, along with extensive experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and security features, Meraki switching and wireless appliances, and Aruba network infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud networking platforms like Azure, AWS, and OCI, as well as Active Directory Integration (ADI) and NPS/RADIUS, is also required. Automation skills using Python and PowerShell are preferred, alongside experience supporting voice infrastructure and strong problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Inspire Brands’ corporate network infrastructure, including enterprise networking within corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments. This role involves monitoring and maintaining network performance, troubleshooting complex issues, deploying and maintaining security solutions like FortiGate firewalls and VPNs, leading or supporting infrastructure projects, creating comprehensive network documentation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure cohesive network integration. They will also contribute to standardization efforts and process improvements, and partner with security and application teams to enforce security standards.
