Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with network architecture design and deployment.
• Experience with network security, deploying modern firewall and gateway technologies.
• Experience with modern campus networking topologies, creating network diagrams that meet current industry standards.
• Capability to perform network assessments and design recommendations.
• Experience working with NAC (Network Access Control) systems like ISE or ClearPass.
• Knowledge and experience with:
  • Firewalls, IPS/IDS
  • VMware SD-WAN

Responsibilities

• Develop network technology solutions to ensure solutions resolve clients’ requirements and challenges, considering:
  • Business and technical requirements
  • Sizing
  • Existing infrastructure
  • Data protection
  • Security requirements
  • Governance
  • Recovery objectives
• Design and/or implement standard or custom technical solutions.
• Participate in operational escalations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
• Contribute to implementation of network and system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Create relevant documentation as required including:
  • Conceptual design
  • Logical design
  • Physical design
  • Bill of materials
  • As-built diagrams
  • Knowledge transfer materials
  • FAQs
  • Transition to operations information
• Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations in client environments, and determine hardware or software requirements.
