Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and validate glazing and sealing systems for doors, windows, skylights, and other exterior closures
Develop and iterate exterior component designs from concept through production, focusing on water and air sealing performance
Collaborate with teams in structures, manufacturing, design, and supply chain
Work with suppliers to select appropriate glass types, coatings, seals, adhesives, and installation methods
Utilize simulation tools to validate structural, thermal, and sealing performance
Drive testing and validation of glazing and sealing systems
Manage CAD models, drawings, tolerance stacks, and BOMs
Stay up to date with industry innovations in glazing materials and sealing technologies
