  • Ability to inform and educate Cardiac Rhythm Management leadership, Operating Units, Strategy Teams, and Field Teams on market dynamics related to reimbursement and health economics
  • Ability to articulate the impact of reimbursement, healthcare environment, and policy initiatives on businesses, products, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Provides reimbursement-related education and/or advice to product development teams, marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical, and business leaders
  • Identifies payer opportunities and issues and implements programs to resolve/decrease barriers to entry for the company's products or therapies
  • Works closely with Strategic Reimbursement colleagues to understand the reimbursement landscape of therapies/products and to develop educational collateral for customers
  • Works closely with Health Economics and Outcomes Research colleagues to evaluate the economic impact of the use of therapies/products on payers, including the government
  • Creates training and delivers education programs to sales force, physicians, hospital administrators, medical directors, and billing personnel
  • Develops and executes strategies to remove patient access barriers
  • Drives commercialization and dissemination of reimbursement and healthcare economic information for the Cardiac Rhythm Management operating unit
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders to develop market access strategies and resources for products and procedures
