Requirements

  • Demonstrated technical judgment, balancing trade-offs with long-term impacts on architecture and business goals
  • Change agility to adapt to new technologies and anticipate downstream effects
  • Experience mentoring engineers, fostering innovation, and promoting best practices in testing, code reviews, security, and compliance

Responsibilities

  • Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, aligning with domain priorities and roadmap milestones
  • Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks to support scalable, reusable, and secure development
  • Guide architectural reviews, system design decisions, and system integration for interoperability and consistency
  • Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, including coding, testing, deployment, observability, and maintenance
  • Champion DevOps, CI/CD practices, cloud cost optimization, automation, and tooling to improve reliability and reduce toil
  • Own operational delivery, ensuring high availability, scalability, and incident response preparedness
  • Oversee design and delivery of AI-integrated software systems adhering to standards and reliability
  • Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to build AI/ML features, automation, and agentic systems
  • Mentor and develop engineers, guiding through architectural trade-offs, best practices, and career growth
  • Ensure technical quality via rigorous testing, code reviews, defect prevention, security, and compliance
  • Own execution of complex technical initiatives, delivering on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals
  • Align platform work with domain strategies through backlog management, milestone tracking, and dependency coordination
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across teams to define priorities and unblock progress
  • Establish and track operational, functional, and engineering metrics for platform success and improvement
  • Demonstrate responsibility for deliverables, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion
