Requirements

  • 10+ years technology experience in software design & delivery
  • Proven leadership with large-scale, complex initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams and vendors
  • Strong technical expertise in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong technical expertise in DevOps toolchains (GitHub, Jenkins/Harness, Docker, Kubernetes, Nexus, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana)
  • Strong technical expertise in software engineering lifecycle, web/mobile apps, backend systems, OOP principles and modern programming frameworks (e.g., Java)

Responsibilities

  • Display strong technical leadership and oversight of design, system integration, quality assurance, automation, delivery, operations and sustainability of technical solutions
  • Develop strategic roadmaps to ensure technical currency while enabling business goals
  • Oversee sustainment including systems availability, performance and scalability issues & outages for services, providing technical leadership & ownership for immediate and proactive, long term resolutions
  • Apply architectural and engineering concepts and design to meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability
  • Lead and mentor multiple cross-functional delivery teams consisting of software engineers, technical product managers/analysts and others (combination of Cast and consultants in various locations, onshore and offshore)
  • Responsible for technical analysis, effort estimation, product and system design, evaluating architectural fit and compliance, resource schedules, delivery milestones and overall product quality
  • Support on-call response to critical operational issues; be able to work beyond normal hours and support implementation transition activities and hyper-care shifts as needed
  • Meet with stakeholders, vendor partners and customers on a recurring basis to review team priorities, execution and pertinent business/delivery updates
  • Champion continuous improvement in both technical practices and organizational agility
  • Drive innovation and the use of modern software technologies through technology presentations and hack-a-thons
  • Enforce and grow a culture focused on Cast and guest-centricity
  • Champion best practices and strategic thinking in the labor systems and Cast experience
