Requirements

  • MBA or other Master’s degree
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in areas such as pricing, revenue management, forecasting, economics, business planning, statistics, business intelligence, or operations management
  • Strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of the Chinese leisure tourism and entertainment industry
  • Passion for the theme park and entertainment industry
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with extensive experience in complex business analysis
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to complete multiple tasks on time with minimal supervision and ensure work accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and high-pressure environment
  • Ability to adapt to project team-oriented work in complex and diversified business units of a multinational enterprise
  • Self-driven, able to work effectively in uncertain environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, able to clearly, concisely, and positively convey key information to all levels of the organization (including senior management)

Responsibilities

  • Formulate pricing strategies for business lines (Food & Beverage, Merchandise) to maximize revenues and profitability, and achieve annual operating and long-term plan goals
  • Drive the formulation of short-term and mid-term revenue growth strategies and plans, including promotions
  • Formulate offer strategies, drive incremental revenue for Merchandise and Food & Beverage through e-coupon projects and Annual Pass Program
  • Collect and analyze external business initiatives valuable to Shanghai Disney Resort, including promotions from other tourist venues
  • Develop accurate measurement methodologies based on key performance indicators to regularly assess performance
  • Continuously question the status quo, identify current issues, and optimize tools and methodologies for future use
  • Collaborate closely with partners (especially Marketing, Sales, and Operations) to ensure efficient product development and follow-up
  • Present strategic recommendations to senior management and influence decisions with strong analysis and insights
  • Lead the Pricing and Revenue Management team, providing daily guidance, management, and leadership to ensure career growth and development of team members
  • Build succession plans through effective processes, structures, and tools
  • Share best practices with other Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide
