Requirements

Experience leading complex projects in IT programs supporting business critical quality systems (e.g., Product Lifecycle Management software replacement, data mesh solutions, advanced analytics and AI)
Ability to work with cross-functional teams across IT, R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions
Capability to coordinate with ADC and Abbott team members worldwide
Onsite availability in Alameda, CA

Responsibilities

Formulate, harmonize, and consolidate project scopes, plans, strategies, and budgets for one or more projects, working closely with functional Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts
Confirm the ongoing strategic rationale and value proposition for projects
Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
Ensure Division-wide thinking and problem-solving are incorporated into project execution
Drive resolution in cross-functional problem solving, communication, and integration
Liaise with Project Owners, functional managers, and management to prioritize activities across programs, balancing resource availability, program deliverables, schedule, and business needs
Liaise with Project Owners, functional managers, and management to monitor business processes
Serve as the liaison between project teams and management
Execute programs to completion and assure successful market entry, or recommend termination to Management if required
Identify areas for process improvement, define and implement solutions, liaising with stakeholders such as Project Owners, functional managers, and senior management
Set strategy, evaluate ideas, prioritize features, define releases and new operating procedures, manage product roadmap, timelines, and budget
Report project status and progress to ADC senior Management
