Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree (Master’s/MBA/JD/MD) with 5 years of relevant experience, or PhD with demonstrated relevant expertise
  • Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry is preferred
  • Aptitude for ramping up quickly across novel projects with little oversight and/or precedent
  • Ability to structure and execute complex projects and processes, with proven success over a variety of functional business problems and stakeholders
  • Ability to discern key pieces of information and needed next steps from a wide range of opinions and data points to keep a project moving forward
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor as well as attention to detail
  • Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with functional and regional leaders within Visa
  • Self-starter, team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead product-related initiatives or major workstreams, including managing day-to-day cross-functional projects and team activities to meet goals and timelines
  • Distill ambiguous problems or opportunities into clear, cross-functional plans of action, managing across multiple potential scenarios
  • Drive rigorous, fact-based, quantitative and qualitative analysis to support recommendations or potential scenarios, ensuring strategic and financial soundness and alignment
  • Deepen and apply a broad knowledge base of Visa’s products, clients, market trends, and competitive landscape to project work
  • Build and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, influencing direction and driving alignment
  • Develop clear and concise communications at both a project team and executive level (e.g., presentations, models, briefing documents)
  • Manage priorities in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving needs and opportunities
  • Contribute to team development by sharing best practices and supporting broader team initiatives as needed
