Requirements

  • Experience leading a team of Managers, Team Leads, and Associates in cGMP multi-cleanroom operations for CAR T clinical and commercial production
  • Expertise in Value Stream Cryo Operations, including frozen process material retrieval, movement, storage in cryotanks, and CRF (Cryopreservation Freezer?) usage
  • Ability to ensure complete traceability, efficient operations, and appropriate controls in production processes
  • Hands-on knowledge of Cell Therapy production steps and Unit Operations to perform and backfill execution as needed
  • Capability to manage inventory, retrieval, movement, and storage within cryo tanks across multiple production areas and shifts (including future 12hr/7d operations)
  • Proficiency in cGMP, SOPs, Work Instructions, ALCOA+ principles, batch record reviews (BRR), and Electronic Batch Record reviews
  • Strong safety leadership, including performing Gemba walks, hazard identification, and promoting safe behaviors
  • Skills in production scheduling, resource availability reporting (daily/weekly/monthly), priority setting, goal establishment, performance monitoring, and metrics reporting in Tier meetings
  • Availability for Monday - Friday, onsite Day Shift (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.), with support for 24/7 operations across 4 QUAD shifts

Responsibilities

  • Lead team to complete production tasks for Cell Therapy products per cGMP, SOPs, and WIs across 4 QUAD shifts supporting 24/7 operations
  • Ensure personal and team safety through Gemba walks, hazard identification, safe equipment operation, and accountability processes
  • Oversee Production Records/Process Documentation, perform BRR or Electronic Batch Record reviews by exception, ensuring ALCOA+ compliance
  • Perform Cell Therapy production steps to maintain expert knowledge, role model execution, and backfill resources to meet schedules
  • Provide Production Scheduling team with daily/weekly/monthly updates on resource availability and task execution/progression
  • Define team priorities, align with site/functional goals, monitor performance, measure completion, and report metrics daily/weekly/monthly in Tier meetings and site control plans
  • Drive completion of production activities and goals
