Requirements

  • Strategic leadership in learning and development, including developing and executing associate learning strategies aligned with business priorities
  • Hands-on expertise in instructional design, content development, and facilitation across modalities (ILT, vILT, e-learning, microlearning, blended)
  • Proficiency with authoring and creative tools (Articulate Rise/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Skills in measurement and analytics, including defining KPIs, Kirkpatrick/Phillips ROI frameworks, and tying learning to business outcomes (productivity, retention, promotion readiness)
  • Partnership experience with stakeholders, HR, SMEs, and business leaders

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive associate learning strategy aligned with Walmart Connect’s business priorities, talent goals, and performance metrics
  • Act as a player/coach, managing a small team while leading design, development, and delivery of key learning initiatives
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of associate performance and skill gaps to identify opportunities for career development and operational improvement
  • Serve as a trusted learning advisor to People and Business leaders
  • Lead strategic needs analysis sessions with stakeholders, HR, and functional leaders to identify capability requirements
  • Facilitate discussions with SMEs to extract knowledge and translate into learning objectives and deliverables
  • Design end-to-end learning paths (onboarding through leadership readiness) that are modular, measurable, and aligned to career progression
  • Build tiered curricula (101/201/301) for foundational, intermediate, and advanced skills
  • Create and deliver learning programs across multiple modalities, applying adult learning and UX principles
  • Develop visually engaging learning materials using specified tools
  • Facilitate key programs such as onboarding, leadership workshops, and skill-based training
  • Coach SMEs and facilitators on content delivery and learner engagement best practices
  • Lead design and execution of Onboarding 2.0 and “everboarding” programs for ongoing, personalized learning
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to design leadership development programs emphasizing communication, coaching, and decision-making
  • Define learning KPIs and success metrics tied to performance outcomes
  • Implement evaluation frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and business impact
