Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services. A proven background in embedded systems, IoT development, or hardware-integrated software is required, along with excellent debugging and root-cause analysis skills. A BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is necessary, as is demonstrated ability to contribute to large, complex codebases and collaborate in multidisciplinary engineering environments. Familiarity with HTTP, Swagger/OpenAPI, Maven, and Git is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Java Developer will design and implement Java (Spring Boot) software for embedded hardware within dispensers and develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services connecting IoT devices to cloud platforms. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contributing to new product features and enhancements, ensuring software quality and security, and translating hardware capabilities into customer-facing features. The role also involves debugging complex issues across hardware, firmware, and software layers, and proactively maintaining and refactoring the codebase.
