Requirements
Candidates should possess 6-8+ years of extensive experience in mainframe hardware support and configuration, along with professional experience utilizing technologies such as z/OS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, JES2, OMVS, and Linux. They should have extensive experience within C and scripting, and a good understanding of TCP/IP network configurations. Knowledge of Disk infrastructure, SAF/RACF, and the latest IBMz processor generations (z14, z15, z16) is required.
Responsibilities
The Senior Mainframe System Programmer will support and maintain the Mainframe, upgrade the Mainframe to the next generation of IBM Processor, troubleshoot for day-to-day incidents and problems, and provide out-of-hours support for the implementation of hardware changes. They will also be responsible for creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans, ensuring risk management and compliance with regulatory processes, and communicating complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
