Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in Lean Six Sigma deployment within manufacturing or healthcare/medical device industries
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional process improvement projects
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing abilities in a matrixed environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required (Master Black Belt preferred)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing, regulatory environments, or highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with operational excellence frameworks beyond Lean Six Sigma (e.g., TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Operational Excellence)
  • Experience managing multiple projects and mentoring continuous improvement teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma deployment, coaching, and execution across site operations
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvement projects that reduce waste, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency
  • Conduct advanced data analysis, root cause analysis, and process mapping to support project decisions
  • Mentor and train Lean Six Sigma Green Belts and Black Belts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to achieve operational goals
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other continuous improvement workshops
  • Measure and report on project outcomes, savings, and performance improvements to site leadership
  • Drive standardization of best practices and share successful methodologies across sites globally
  • Support operational strategy by aligning Lean Six Sigma initiatives with business objectives
