Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
At least 7 years of management experience in an IT environment with significant exposure to the APAC region, including China
Proven experience working with Google Workspace and Slack
Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments
Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and project management skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise organization's technical operations, including overseeing IT department employees and ensuring technology systems support organizational goals
Oversee all IT operations, network support, IT security, and IT infrastructure
Define and apply centralized IT policies and systems across the APAC region to support business objectives
Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects in line with organizational objectives
Ensure maintenance of current projects and technology systems
Identify vulnerabilities, needs for upgrades, configurations, or opportunities for new systems
Propose strategic solutions and recommend new systems and software
Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and vendors
Ensure reported issues are resolved in a timely manner
Review and analyze helpdesk metrics and performance reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and training opportunities
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues and complex user inquiries
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to IT team members
Coordinate and delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient workflow and timely resolution of user issues
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to promote professional growth
Identify opportunities to streamline IT processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
Implement best practices for incident management, problem resolution, and knowledge management
Collaborate with Central/Regional IT teams to implement system enhancements based on user feedback and performance metrics
Support a follow-the-sun IT support model and work effectively with international teams across time zones
Handle project management and governance for India-specific (30% minimum) and additional projects as rolled out
