Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience working with AWS and/or GCP IaaS services such as compute, object storage, IAM, VPC, and load balancing. Proficiency in modern Unix/Linux operating systems, preferably CentOS & Alpine, is required, along with experience in CI/CD, containers/virtualization, web servers, and databases. Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and implementing monitoring, alerting, and runbooks is also necessary. Experience with Airflow, GKE, EKS, BigQuery, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes is considered a plus. The ideal candidate is adaptable, autonomous, possesses excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, and is collaborative.

Responsibilities

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to design and build scalable infrastructure for TRM's products and services. Responsibilities include developing software and tooling for automation, support, maintenance, and operability of services. The role involves using data to assess infrastructure availability, reliability, and sustainability, and actively participating in systems hardening and compliance efforts like SOC2 and FedRAMP. Additionally, the engineer will work with leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for the Infrastructure team.
