Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in I&C hardware design. Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout, and board production is required, as well as experience with embedded software development using languages such as C, C++, or Python. Familiarity with industry standards like IPC, UL, and FCC, and nuclear industry regulations is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior I&C Hardware Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop electronic system concepts, design and simulate analog and digital circuits, develop detailed PCB layouts, oversee PCB fabrication and validation, develop and test embedded firmware/software, construct prototypes and perform testing, create technical documentation, work with mechanical and software teams, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and manage product lifecycle activities. They will also integrate cybersecurity considerations into hardware designs and address obsolescence management and continuous improvement.
