Requirements

  • Provide technical and administrative support to the HR team by accurately maintaining employee records
  • Own administration of employment orientation, compensation/benefits
  • Support execution of cyclical processes, workers compensation, payroll, and all required record keeping
  • Interact with Target team members at varying levels within the organization (Field and HQ), as well as external candidates
  • Support the staffing needs of the distribution center through ensuring teams are set up for employee orientation
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State employment regulations and company policy in all areas of employment (including hiring, promotion, transfers, resignations, and terminations)
  • Ensure compensation and benefits programs are executed timely, follow appropriate timekeeping and record keeping practices, and assist with questions as needed
  • Ensure employee training programs are executed in a timely manner with accurate records of regulatory and corporate trainings
  • Assist with answering team member questions to service the teams

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to leaders and team members to elevate and nurture the Target experience
  • Infuse HR work with Target’s distinctive retail brand by experimenting, evolving, and innovating
  • Positively impact teams in distribution centers across the Target network
  • Operate behind the scenes to create a progressive culture of value, respect, reward, and professional advancement
  • Support Distribution Center Operations, Quality Management, and overall Distribution Center Productivity through HR functions
