Candidates should possess at least 5 years of progressive HR/People & Culture experience in a business partner capacity. A strong understanding of Canadian and US employment standards and HR compliance practices is essential. Experience coaching leaders, resolving employee relations matters with fairness and empathy, and guiding performance management processes are required. Proven ability to design engagement initiatives, lead organizational-wide initiatives, manage change, and contribute to strategic direction is necessary. Experience driving the adoption of new technologies, including AI tools, across teams is also required. Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills are important, with a preference for Leadership Coaching certification.
The Senior HR Business Partner will lead performance management cycles, including calibration for goal-setting, feedback, and reviews, to ensure clarity and development. They will partner with managers and senior leaders to provide coaching and guidance, strengthening leadership capabilities and team effectiveness. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor on employee relations, supporting fair and empathetic practices to foster engagement and belonging. The position requires ensuring all programs and practices align with Canadian/US employment legislation. Additionally, the Senior HR Business Partner will collaborate with the broader People team on initiatives supporting growth, inclusion, and engagement, and identify opportunities to integrate AI/automation into HR workflows to streamline operations and enhance the employee experience.
