Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role with a focus on Google Workspace and MacOS. Strong technical skills are required, including experience with Google Workspace administration, Okta administration, MacOS and Mobile Device Management (MDM), troubleshooting web services (Slack), and remote support tools and ticketing systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users, are also necessary.
The Senior HelpDesk Engineer will be the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance, providing timely and effective support via phone, email, and the ticketing system. They will troubleshoot issues related to Google Workspace, Okta, MacOS, and Mobile Device Management (MDM), resolve technical problems with various web services, prepare and configure new employee workstations, maintain detailed records of user requests and resolutions, escalate complex issues, develop and maintain technical documentation, deliver user training, and collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement system improvements and upgrades.
