Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of healthcare industry experience, including 2+ years with Managed Medicaid plans, 5+ years of experience programming in SQL and 2+ years of experience with Python, a background in statistics/data science and experience with predictive modeling techniques to forecast cost, utilization, and other health outcomes, and expertise in study/designs statistical methods commonly used to evaluate health outcomes. Familiarity with Value-based Care and supporting analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

As Senior Healthcare Economics Analyst, the individual will use analytical skills to assess clinical, operational, and financial performance across all markets and help design, support, and evaluate business initiatives. They will analyze and interpret healthcare data to identify key drivers of member engagement, cost, and utilization, generate actionable insights, identify trends and outliers from performance metrics, provide root-cause analyses, and build recommendations for strategic changes. Furthermore, they will develop analytical plans and statistical methodologies to monitor trends at population level and systematically evaluate clinical and financial outcomes, and partner with cross-functional teams to help design and support clinical programs and business initiatives.
