Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in hardware design and development, with a focus on consumer electronics
Proven track record of delivering successful platform reference designs
Experience with schematic capture and PCB design using tools like Cadence
Strong understanding of system power delivery, stackups, and RLC component selection
Hands-on experience with chipset bring-up, system validation, and troubleshooting in a laboratory environment
Aptitude for failure analysis (FA) and debugging system-level issues
Willingness to travel (a maximum of two trips to Asia may be required over a one year period)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
7+ years of experience in a related role
Experience leading socket-based Platform PCB design
Expertise in establishing Board-level Power Delivery Network (PDN) and Signal Integrity (SI) specifications
Experience with battery-powered, wireless, or embedded hardware
Knowledge of various buses and signals, including I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, I2S, and USB

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end system development for next-generation portable electronic systems
Define System-on-Chip (SoC) pinouts and optimize packaging
Ensure cost-effective manufacturing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration challenges
Lead system bring-up efforts
Perform system debugging using lab equipment
