Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field, with over 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist working on complex projects and large datasets. Experience with ML models for time-series, signal processing, or embedded systems applications, as well as a strong background in consumer hardware, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Scientist will collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to optimize data sampling, preprocessing, and inference pipelines on constrained devices. They will mentor data scientists and analysts, design experiments for labeled training data collection, and focus on improving device usability and member experience through data. Responsibilities also include contributing to patentable IP and the long-term ML roadmap for intelligent hardware, staying current with data science advancements, and embodying company values.
