The Motley Fool is seeking a Senior Contract Fullstack Engineer to join our team on an independent contract basis. This role focuses on evolving and upgrading internal infrastructure supporting our 600k paying subscribers and millions of website visitors. The position offers a potential path to full-time employment. This is a 40-hour per week, fully remote role, but applicants must reside in the US. Strong preference will be given to candidates residing in California, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, and Wisconsin.

Requirements

  • Expert-Level Skills: Python, Javascript, Django, React, Next.js
  • Experience: Experience with React and Next.js is essential.
  • Residency: Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain systems using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Integrate systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with team members, product owners, and other professionals at The Motley Fool.
