Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience
Deep understanding of microservice architecture, REST services, and API design
Good knowledge of security concepts
Highly versed in deploying and operating applications in a cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
Skilled as a Java Developer with experience in frameworks like Spring Boot
Ideally experience with a distributed event store such as Apache Kafka
Experience with JavaScript (ES6 / ES2015), React, Typescript, Webpack, CSS/HTML
Good understanding of PostgreSQL
Demonstrated strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial thinking, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, operate, and improve software solutions with a direct impact on the business
Discuss and design APIs and integrated solutions
Own code and decide on technologies and tools within a microservices architecture on AWS
Participate in the entire development cycle – from architecture design to testing to implementation & maintenance
Write applications from scratch with the latest technologies of your choice
