Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a solid background in frontend development with React and vanilla TypeScript, and experience with build tools is an asset. Experience with checkout and payment systems, third-party integrations, and a user-centric design philosophy are valued. Technical skills include Next.js, TypeScript, React/Vue, Node, RTL/Jest, and Jenkins or any other CI/CD platform. Experience producing SDKs or other developer tooling, a strong understanding of API principles and best practices, and experience working closely with Product designers are required. An interest in Laravel is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Frontend Engineer will shape the design system and work on the platform powering developer.paddle.com, and develop and maintain public libraries. They will collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure a cohesive developer experience, develop new functionality for product teams, and help customers onboard and build with Paddle. Responsibilities also include maturing API practices and processes, driving innovation with new features, working with AWS products like Cloudfront and S3, and shaping team and engineering culture.
