Hayden AI is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the development of Hayden Portal, a full-stack web application critical to the company's core business. Portal is used by sales, operations, enforcement agencies, and transit agencies to manage fleets, review video data, and evaluate potential violations. The ideal candidate will guide a remote team of software engineers and act as a bridge between the team, customers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of software engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • People:

    • Represent user needs to engineers and engineering constraints to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Product Management and Customer Success.
  • Technical:
    • Participate in design discussions and review pull requests.
    • Stay close to the work and set the technical tone.
    • Lead from the front and demonstrate technical expertise.
