Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
An MBA is a plus
1-3 years of Financial Analyst experience
Experience in Tier 1 Packaged Goods company in food industry would be an asset
Strong business acumen & judgement
Sound presentation and communication skills in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment
Must be a self-starter
Must be a strong team player and able to build relationships across the organization
Strong analytical skills and the ability to ‘translate’ financial language effectively to all levels within the organization
Should be adaptable, flexible and agile to an ever-changing work environment
Able to work independently with minimal direction, but also able to ask for direction when needed
Knowledge of current computer technologies (MS Office/ Oracle / Spotfire Analytics)

Prepare journal entries as a part of month end close
Reconcile applicable Balance Sheet accounts
Prepare reports and supporting analysis to aid in management decisions
Work with internal auditors and compliance group to maintain and document monthly controls
Partner with the Contract Manufacturing Team to provide system and process expertise
Assist with Inventory Reconciliations
Assist with Annual Financial Plan and Monthly Reforecast for Contract Manufacturing locations
Partner with the Supply Chain Finance Team to provide value-added analysis for reporting results and transactions
Identify areas of improvements and standardization
Periodic travel to the U.S. headquarters, typically twice per year, with each visit lasting 2–3 days
