First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred
Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst
Typically experienced in more than one finance function
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area
Excellent analytical skills

Responsibilities

Provide business with checked and analyzed financial results
Coordinate flash for OS
Drive the business to focus on forecast accuracy
Support the BU to understand and monitor their commercial and financial performance, providing required details
Manage ad-hoc investigations to provide analysis on all financials (funnel / orders / revenues (incl. contra-revenues) / margin) and optimize BU financial performance; proactively warn on deteriorating trends
Assist the business to identify growth & margin opportunities and develop appropriate business plans and financial simulations
Drive business behavior to maximize free cash flow: develop awareness on FCF, ensure control and follow-up on cash-impacting items (payment terms, collectability issues)
Assist the BU in relationships with NWE contacts on financials via ad-hoc requests and participation in BU meetings
Provide pre-sales financial support for deals approvals, contractual terms, P&L simulation, or rev rec (in coordination with GRRO)
Contribute to deals governance process to ensure proper review, information, approvals, and documentation (checklist / signed contract)
Maintain/reinforce sales community knowledge on deals negotiation processes (one-shot support, training, communications)
Maintain coordination on Infrastructure/Services Greenlake deals: rules, flash impacts
Assist business on specific customer cases to resolve issues while limiting HPE financial exposure, focusing on controlling anticipations risk
Be accountable for OS financials accuracy
Ensure control and analysis on revenues bookings, in sync with Order Management teams and per rev rec rules
Ensure financial controls for BU-specific flows (Account reconciliation / SOX / Audit compliance)
Provide NWE required deliverables and explanations accurately and timely
Be the entry point for EY & internal audit queries
