Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales
  • Consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  • Demonstrated history of managing a sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • Experience using open source technology is a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in all channels (in person, online, in writing)
  • Ability to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations
  • Ability to understand and convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise
  • Familiarity with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal
  • Ability to meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Ability to manage forecasts and track customer data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Outbound prospecting into net-new customers
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations)
  • Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
  • Be able to understand and convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise
  • Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure successful customer onboarding and retention
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to stay competitive
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other internal training to improve sales skills and knowledge
