Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and optimize Proofpoint email gateway to protect against phishing, spam, malware, and other email-based threats
Monitor email traffic and analyze trends to identify potential security risks
Develop and implement policies and rules to enhance email security and compliance
Implement and manage DNS authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC using tools like Proofpoint EFD and Valimail to secure email communications
Regularly audit and update DNS records to ensure compliance and prevent email spoofing
Collaborate with IT and domain administrators to configure and verify DNS settings
Monitor and analyze email DLP incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks
Work with stakeholders to ensure DLP policies align with business needs and regulatory requirements
Assist clients in understanding and implementing email security best practices
Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of email security tools and protocols
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, filtering, and security
