Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of experience
Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes internals (schedulers, controllers, API server, flannel). Experience with CRDs, Operators, Helm, and controller-runtime. Ability to debug and optimize workloads and cluster performance
Strong Linux and OS-level understanding: Deep knowledge of Linux kernel concepts (cgroups, namespaces, process/thread scheduling). Process scheduling, thread management, signal handling, virtual memory management. Familiar with system calls, memory management, and in-depth filesystem behavior (ext4, XFS, overlayfs, etc.). Comfortable with system tuning and kernel parameters
Adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership
Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced agile setting
Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment where requirements change quickly
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to a diverse audience

Responsibilities

Developing well-tested, ready-for-production code
Contributing to design and architecture discussions
Creating robust deployment and monitoring systems
Providing support for production environments
Conducting code reviews and engaging in agile software development activities
Collaborating positively with team members
End-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack
Building products with web frameworks, application programming interfaces, databases, and multiple backend languages
Solving challenges that impact both front-end and backend architecture while delivering global customer experiences
Integrating knowledge of business and functional priorities
Acting as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment
May lead teams or projects and shares expertise
Design, development, deployment, and operation of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure for on-premises platform
