Responsibilities

Build the business case for profit margin improvements, supplier changes and/or strategic initiatives, including consulting with cross functions to estimate savings, build project timelines and estimate resource, capital and operational expenditures
Plan and lead the execution of profit margin improvements, supplier changes and/or strategic initiatives, including constructing detailed, accurate project schedules and interfacing with development and technical support groups
Monitor and report project costs including capital and cross-functional expenses
Lead problem solving initiatives and implement CAPA as necessary, applying industry recognized tools and processes (e.g., DMAIC, FMEA, DOE, Statistical Analysis)
Pro-actively and clearly communicate project status with core team and all levels of management
Write technical documentation in support of project deliverables and requirements, such as protocols, reports, and change control supporting documents
Plan, schedule and lead project assignments in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of various engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, working with several global manufacturing sites
Apply engineering principles in the identification of root cause and CAPA implementation
Occasional travel may be required
