Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably within an enterprise cloud software company, and a proven ability to write clean, testable, and readable code in a team environment. They should have hands-on experience with open-source technologies including Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Solr, Maven, Git, Tomcat, Linux, AWS, Vagrant, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with 3+ years of experience with relational databases and a strong understanding of SQL.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will rapidly build new applications on an existing platform, drive new features and improvements in a fast-changing environment, partner with product management and design to deliver solutions, and work on multiple layers of the stack including backend, front-end, and infrastructure. They will also drive new features, build tools and automation, ensure platform scalability and reliability, lead incident mitigation efforts, strategize on complex problems, participate in engineering design reviews, communicate effectively during outages, and engage in real-time communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
