Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and have over 5 years of industry experience. A solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, along with hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing PCBAs is required. Mastery of Altium or similar EDA tools for schematics and layout is essential, as well as expertise in power electronics, digital electronics, and analog electronics. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in debugging hardware issues, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Senior Electrical Engineer will develop conceptual designs and conduct trade studies to support key design decisions. They will design and validate PCBAs for critical components such as robotics compute boards and camera electronics. Responsibilities include reviewing design artifacts from peers or external suppliers, supporting system integration and test activities, and performing PCB layout for new and existing designs. The role also involves preparing and releasing fabrication and assembly files, managing library and PCB processes, and collaborating with Electrical and Mechanical engineers.
