Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a clear focus on customer-facing eCommerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital products
  • Experience working in and building for the Shopify ecosystem
  • Compelling track record of managing the entire product lifecycle—from discovery and ideation through to launch and iteration
  • Expertise in A/B testing, user research, and data analysis, with hands-on experience using tools like Intelligems, Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading sprint ceremonies and managing a backlog with tools like JIRA
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator who can effectively work with different departments, managers, and key stakeholders
  • Creative and innovative, with ability to build great new things that are fresh and unique while staying on brand
  • Agile and motivated by a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Passionate about transforming travel for all

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core components of the Away eCommerce experience
  • Lead a dedicated, cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and analysts to execute on the roadmap, fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture
  • Translate customer needs and business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and optimization by developing and executing a robust A/B testing and user research plan
  • Advocate for the customer experience by leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to identify new opportunities and inform backlog prioritization
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for product areas, and regularly communicate progress and insights to stakeholders and leadership
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the product domain, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment on goals and priorities across the organization
