Requirements

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience

  • Demonstrated strategic vision and creative thinking, with a track record of challenging the status quo and driving innovation and transformation in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Proven ability to launch, commercialize, and drive adoption of new marketing offerings or initiatives across large, matrixed organizations
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, including evaluating business opportunities, assessing ROI, and leveraging insights to inform decisions
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, creative development, and emerging marketing technologies (including AI)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Brazil Public and Regional Banks strategy and multi-year account roadmaps, aligning to sector priorities
  • Own Marketing Service sector P&L, driving financial planning, pricing discipline, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and margin optimization
  • Serve as executive sponsor for top public and regional banks, lead complex partnerships, marketing and sponsorship negotiations and multi-year marketing and commercial constructs to deepen partnership value
  • Lead and supervise the marketing service team and all the initiatives being implemented with regional and public issuers
  • Partner with Sales, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Product, Marketing Services, Risk, and Finance to deliver integrated “One Visa” solutions with quantified outcomes
  • Lead strategic RFPs and pitches that articulate differentiated value for public and regional issuers need and regulatory considerations
  • Establish performance dashboards and governance cadences to ensure execution excellence and accountability across accounts
  • Champion best practices, contract lifecycle rigor, and knowledge sharing across Brazil and LAC
  • Engage ecosystem stakeholders to advance initiatives and remove barriers to scale
  • Hire, develop, coach and retain talent, drive engagement, capability building, and succession planning
