Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in product partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or consumer technology
  • Direct experience in FinTech, with a strong understanding of how banks, payment networks, and financial infrastructure providers operate—ideally through partnerships or integrations with card networks, issuers, or payment processors
  • Proven success sourcing, negotiating, and managing complex partnerships with measurable business impact
  • Strong understanding of how partnerships intersect with product strategy, engineering priorities, and go-to-market execution
  • Excellent relationship builder and communicator—able to engage effectively at both executive and operational levels
  • Commercially minded and analytically rigorous, with the ability to structure deals, model outcomes, and drive data-informed decisions
  • Comfortable operating as both hunter and operator, balancing origination with execution excellence
  • Thrives in a high-growth, dynamic environment; resourceful, accountable, and driven by impact

Responsibilities

  • Source, structure, and close new partnerships that expand Flex’s distribution and product & platform capabilities
  • Manage and grow existing strategic relationships, driving alignment at the executive level and expanding collaboration over time
  • Own the full partner lifecycle — from prospecting and value proposition development to negotiation, launch, and long-term management
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal to align partnership opportunities with product strategy and ensure successful delivery
  • Develop compelling partner narratives and business cases that demonstrate mutual value and strategic alignment
  • Design scalable commercial and operational frameworks that support sustainable growth
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline and performance tracking, reporting clearly on progress, risks, and priorities to senior leadership
  • Build repeatable playbooks for identifying, evaluating, and scaling high-impact partnerships across new categories
