Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science related field with at least 10 years of Operations Leadership or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated competency in leading and delivering results through Standard Work, Daily Management, Problem Solving, 5S and Value Stream mapping among other tools
  • Ability to effectively lead staff and communicate the needs of the department to management
  • Ability to effectively represent the department on multi organizational teams as a leader, member or facilitator
  • Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem solving with experience implementing sustainable solutions

Responsibilities

  • Drive site KPIs to improve operating performance and customer satisfaction by leveraging lean principles to deliver sustainable results
  • Identify and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure regulatory and IDT compliance requirements
  • Ensure success of new product development and product transfer to operations throughout the product lifecycle
  • Establish and implement SMART performance objectives of direct reports that support, and align with, the goals and objectives of IDT Operations
  • Establish a multi-year strategic vision for operations with an action plan to track progress
  • Ensure the shipment goals, business goals, customer requirements and production plans are achieved, and that manufacturing capacity meets the sales plans
  • Uphold the appropriate standards of behaviors including keeping business information confidential; coordinating the system security; ensuring data accuracy and integrity; maintaining updated professional and technical knowledge; assuring systems compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate standards; ensuring a safe and healthy environment
