Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales success in a complex software or technology environment (preferably SaaS)
  • Ability to communicate and convey the value proposition of a complex software platform via phone and online demos as well as in-person meetings
  • Experience utilizing an enterprise level CRM (preferably Salesforce.com) to monitor and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities of the team
  • Success in a past leadership role, including ongoing development of individual team members through training, mentoring, and overall performance management
  • Creative thinker with an eye toward keeping a large team of sales representatives motivated and passionate about their work
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and successfully
  • 5+ years’ sales management experience
  • 5+ years’ overall sales experience
  • Preferred: College Degree (equivalent years of relevant experience may substitute)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of travel and expense management industry

Responsibilities

  • Focus on attracting Enterprise business leads (approximately 1,000+ in size)
  • Follow a defined sales process and partner with key sales leaders
  • Strive to meet and exceed quarterly sales goals (range of 2.5M to 3.5M Yearly Quota)
  • Monitor and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities of the team using CRM
  • Develop individual team members through training, mentoring, and performance management
  • Keep a large team of sales representatives motivated and passionate
