Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, specifically focused on developer experience. Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is required, as is proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and source control systems (Git) is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer - Developer Experience, you will gather holistic feedback from developers to design solutions that improve their lived experience, drive the use of Generative AI for Developer assistance, and innovate ways to leverage AI tools. You will also design and implement powerful development tools, streamline workflows, perform administration and troubleshooting, and advocate for developer needs within Matillion, ensuring that those needs are considered in decision-making processes. Furthermore, you will serve as a subject matter expert in areas such as source control, build, branching, continuous integration & deployment, and general development best practices, while providing timely support and fostering a collaborative developer community.
