Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in DevOps, security, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) is essential, along with proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell. In-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) are required. Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Responsibilities

The Senior DevOps Architect will design, implement, and optimize DevOps practices, architecting and securing Kubernetes clusters and their ecosystem. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining DevOps architectural best practices and standards, configuring Kubernetes add-ons, and designing secure, automated CI/CD pipelines. The role involves enforcing cluster security through RBAC and network policies, leading the integration of security practices like code scanning and vulnerability assessments, and evaluating/implementing DevSecOps tools. Additionally, the architect will improve existing toolchains, implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and deployment, develop IaC templates, establish monitoring and alerting systems, optimize infrastructure and applications for efficiency and reliability, and collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and provide training.
