A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Developer or Engineer within the ServiceNow ecosystem is required, along with at least 1 year of experience using ServiceNow’s LLM, Now Assist, and/or AI Agents. Proven experience speaking at technology conferences, blogging, creating videos, writing technical articles, and contributing to open-source projects is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong relationship-building abilities are necessary. The role requires up to 30% annual travel.
The Senior Developer Advocate will attract, inspire, and enable a thriving ecosystem through direct engagement, focusing on learning and transforming community members into champions. Responsibilities include establishing trust as a technical peer and community advocate by generating innovative content such as blog posts, videos, code examples, workshops, and webinars. The role involves building and scaling developer events and meetup ecosystems in the APAC region to foster collaboration. Additionally, the advocate will participate in social media and blogging to increase developer awareness, identify new channels for developer engagement, and partner with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Events to deliver content for the developer program.
