A strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and causal inference, along with proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and statistical modeling libraries, is essential. Experience in a fast-paced company and a growth mindset are also required, along with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and troubleshoot customer issues. Bonus skills include 2+ years in marketing attribution, MMM, or experimentation, and experience developing production models.
The Senior Data Scientist will support data science-powered products, contributing to forecasting and experimentation capabilities to improve model accuracy and expand measurement coverage. This role involves explaining statistical concepts to customers, troubleshooting measurement issues, and gathering feedback to enhance the product suite. Collaboration with engineering and product teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements and providing technical expertise to non-technical stakeholders are key duties.
