  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience building things with Ray and desire to evangelize its usage
  • Keeps up with open-source software for machine learning at scale
  • Built ML solutions that have reached production
  • Comfortable with the data science and ML iteration/lifecycle
  • Familiarity with compute and data platforms

  • Wants to build, maintain, grow, and improve ML platforms

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve Torc ML frameworks including:
  • Cloud tooling (Terraform, AWS Managed Services, EKS, Ray)
  • Data ops (Parquet processing with PyArrow, Daft, Pandas; vector databases / LanceDB; MCAP/ROS)
  • ML Development pipeline (Python, Ray, PyTorch, Lightning, Gymnasium)
  • Logging & aggregation, Experiment tracking, Model registry & lineage
  • Visualization & dashboarding (e.g., Tableau, Voxel51, Rerun)
